Welcome NMBC Family and Friends!
Our purpose at Ninth Missionary Baptist Church is that primarily, of lifting high the Savior, Evangelizing the lost through witnessing of the Gospel by life and Word; and secondly to be salt and light of the whole world as we seek to alleviate the burdens and injustices of a suffering world.
We are a worshiping and witnessing community of Christians who profess faith in Christ and submit to His authority, and He sustains us by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
The Biblical purpose for our existence in the world can be found in Matthew 28:19-20, which says,
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen."
"If anyone would come after me , he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever want to save his life must lose it, but whoever lose his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?"
